Here’s how it works:

Art League Artists are donating a piece or pieces of artwork that would normally sell for a minimum of $250 and many valued considerably higher. A collection of 2D and 3D pieces will be offered, including paintings, drawings, photography, collage, jewelry, ceramic, and sculpture. Art collectors and enthusiasts can purchase a LOTTO ticket for $100.  Each ticket entitles the holder to take home a piece or collection of artwork for just $100 regardless of the value of the painting!  Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis, so get in on the action early. Tickets are available online through the Art League website or at The Gallery at Art Place.

The live LOTTO event will be held on August 15, where LOTTO ticket numbers will be called in random order. Once you purchase your ticket, you will be issued a number. When your number is called during the event, you will select your piece from what is still available.  You can browse all the work in our online gallery or get a sneak peek of the works in the gallery exhibit at the Art Place Studios gallery. The online gallery will continue to grow as new works are donated, so keep checking it.  Prior to December 15th, a list of the available pieces be downloaded online or at Art Place so that you can mark your top picks. From there, it’s up to Lady Luck. If you can’t be present to make your choice, you can send a lucky stand-in to take your place!

The preview exhibit will kick off on August 3rd from 2-4 pm. and will run through August 15th when the live LOTTO drawing will take place.  The event will include refreshments and some fun entertainment from a few of our talented Art League members.

Only a limited number of tickets will be sold, so get your ticket early to be sure you don’t miss out on this opportunity to take home (or gift) a one-of-a-kind piece of art from some of the most talented artists in the area, for a price that is double or more your $100 investment.
