This an annually changing outdoor exhibition of banners will again be installed on Main Street and the side Avenues of downtown Hendersonville and will include the artwork of our area’s adult artists. Only 30 banners will be installed this year. We look forward to once again exhibiting in the Historic 7th Avenue District when the streetscape is complete. Five banners have already been reserved by Sustaining Partners program participants.
We will once again install an exhibit of the work of youth artwork. The number of youth banners will be based on the number of participating sponsors and be installed in Jackson Park. Both areas are well viewed by both vehicular and pedestrian traffic, contributing color and excitement to the area, and helping to make Hendersonville a unique art destination.
In addition to having your name or business name on a banner, your name and up to two additional lines of information will be featured next to a photo of artwork for your banner sponsor in a full color brochure that provides viewers a map showing the location of each banner. The original artwork will be featured in an exhibit at Art Place for the Month of March. A special VIP event for our Sustaining Partners will be held and an exciting live Banner Reveal event prior to the installation of the banners. Sponsors also enjoy exposure in our newsletters, social media postings, printed program materials for a variety of Art League events and programs.
