Art Place Studios Artist of the Month: Linda Hendricks
Linda Hendricks, Studio 8, creates bold, colorful, and expressive artworks in acrylic, oil, and watercolor.
As a youngster, Linda was fortunate to live in an area where the public school system had funding for art programs. At the junior high level, she was always taking courses in drawing, drafting and metal shop. She wouldn’t be caught dead in home-economic classes! In 1998, Linda moved to Flat Rock, NC, taught at the Boys & Girls Club of Henderson County, and held private classes for children and adults. She said, "I’m very excited about my new space in the Art Place Studios, formed by the Art League of Henderson County. If you’re planning to visit Hendersonville, be sure to put this place on your list of 'Things to Do'."
