The Art League’s Plein Air Group
The Art League's group of outdoor ‘Plein Air’ painters was started in 2021. Paint outs are free to attend. All levels of experience and mediums are welcome. We meet at venues in the Hendersonville are between late May and early November. Some of the more popular locations have multiple season dates, such as Carl Sandburg’s Home. We enjoy combine our gatherings occasionally with other plein air groups. Please refer to the attached schedule for more information on times and dates.
The Plein Air Group can be seen painting on the grounds of Marked Tree Vineyard in Flat Rock, NC during the Art League of Henderson County’s festivals. A highlight of the year this year was painting at the La vie en Rosé festival.
