The Art League of Henderson County proudly offers a vibrant and ever-growing selection of classes, workshops, and art camps for both adults and children. Whether you're just beginning your creative journey or looking to refine advanced techniques, our programs are designed to inspire, challenge, and support artists at every level.

From drawing, painting, and collage to ceramics, mixed media, printmaking, and more, our offerings span a wide variety of mediums and styles. Each class is led by skilled local instructors who bring their passion, expertise, and individualized attention to every session. With small class sizes, students receive the one-on-one guidance they need to grow their skills and confidence in a supportive, encouraging environment.

Now is the perfect time to try something new, reignite your creativity, or develop your artistic voice. Our engaging classes are a great way to meet fellow creatives, relax and recharge, and experience the joy of making art in a nurturing community setting.

All classes are now held at the Art Place Gallery at 730 Locust Street, Hendersonville unless otherwise noted. It's a welcoming, fully-equipped space for artists to create, connect, and thrive.

Limited parking is available in the gallery parking lot (free) paid parking is available in the lot, free parking on Locust, 7th Avenue and Maple Street.  Saturday and Sunday parking is available (free) in the ProSource lot adjacent to the gallery.


All Clay classes are at the Glassman Clay Studio at 2015 Asheville Hwy, Hendersonville

Free parking is available surrounding the building and to the right of the building behind any of the buildings which are all connected.




Cancellation Policy:

Classes with fewer than 4 students enrolled may be canceled at the instructor’s discretion. Students will be notified by the instructor, one week prior to the class. Please consider this when purchasing materials for any class. Classes may get postponed or canceled.

By completing your registration transaction, you are agreeing to accept the following cancellation policy: you are eligible for a refund of the class fee if you cancel at least 2 weeks in advance. There is NO refund if you cancel for any reason less than 2 weeks prior to or during the class. Sorry, but no transfers. There are NO refunds for missed sessions, early departure, or no-shows. If The Art League or the instructor cancels the class, you will receive a full refund of tuition.
